Plain Talk Courses for the Non-Engineering Power Professional

A special separate registration is required for this course, although full conference registration is not required. The focus of this course is to provide a thorough foundation in electric power systems planning, operations and economics and various regulatory frameworks. Basic electrical terminology and concepts are explained in simple to understand terms with regards to design, construction, operations and maintenance of power plants, substations and transmission and distribution lines. Basic electrical safety concepts are included.
