Q: What if I am not a Society member?
You will need to register as a non-member. Don't forget that non-members can register online and take advantage of our special "Join Now" Membership Package which saves you $150! To learn more about the benefits of membership or to register for this package online, please visit www.IEEET-D.org.
Q: What are the requirements for member registration?
You'll need to provide your member number. If you don't have your member number available, please visit the IEEE website at www.IEEE.org. You may also call 800-678- 4333 or 732-981-0060.
Q: How do I correct outdated contact information in my customer record online?
Click on the edit button and make the changes accordingly.
Q: How and when will I receive my registration confirmation?
If registering online, a confirmation will be sent via email immediately after completing the registration process. All other registration forms received (i.e. e-mail, fax, mail) will be processed and confirmed via email within 48-72 hours of receipt.
Q: When will I receive my badge and tickets?
Badges will be mailed to the contact person specified on the registration form starting on April 7. If you register after April 7, your badges will be held for on-site pick-up.
Q: What is the payment policy?
A credit card or check payment must accompany your registration. We accept Master Card, Visa, American Express and Discover. Checks (U.S. banks only) should be payable to IEEE PES T&D Conference.
Q: I am an international attendee, how do I get a visa letter?
Register online at www.IEEET-D.org. As you finish the registration process you will be asked for your passport number, birth date and other related information. A visa letter will automatically be generated and available for you to print.
Q: How can I get a Certificate of Presence?
Those letters will be available on-site at the registration desk.
Q: How do I cancel my meeting registration and get a refund?
Written cancellations will only be accepted before April 7, 2012 for a refund, less a $35 cancellation fee. Refunds will only be issued after May 31, 2012. Send all written requests to IEEE, c/o Registration Control Systems; 1833 Portola Rd., Suite D, Ventura, California 93003.
