zenon Process Recorder offers the possibility to traceably analyze errors and problems after they have happened. It supplements known zenon tools, such as Extended Trend, the Alarm Message List and the Chronological Event List, for an even more precise analysis of errors.
The Process Recorder records data in zenon Runtime, which is later played back in project simulation mode. Problems can thus be analyzed in more detail after the event (in a post-mortem analysis). Simulation and training of new employees can also be carried out in a clear manner with the Process Recorder.
zenon is frequently implemented in substation automation. zenon technologies are used for on-site operation, at control center level and as a gateway. Engineers can implement complex requirements and major projects very quickly. For example, safe redundancy modes can be configured out-of-the-box. Equipment operation is thus robust and highly available.
COPA-DATA develops its own communication stacks for IEC 61850, IEC 60870, DNP 3 and ICCP, for example. This enables quick expansion and the optimal maintenance of drivers. zenon’s communication abilities ensure the greatest connectivity in heterogeneous equipment and the use in smart grids.
In addition, zenon offers many functions for the infrastructure of smart cities. It is possible to monitor and control tunnel facilities, water and waste-water management, as well as public transport and its power supply.
